How do i get more readers for my site/blog? URGENT!?

I have a fanfic site :] im not some creepy pervert who writes about famous people, i actually write pretty well and its intresting. I write really well, in my opinion and others, and I post it in blogs like other sites do. I keep supporting and posting bulletins and spreading the word of my new fanfic and or posting a new chapter and i only get like 15 comments! i know sites with the same number of myspace friends as me, 1,000+ friends, and they get like 2 pages of comments!!! i would love it if I could get more readers but how!?

Ask other sites to advertise on their page (affy for affy). Or pay some websites to advertise your site. Post s4s bulletins a lot and join a couple trains to get the adds rolling in.

posting bulletins will only show up to your friends, who probably look at your blog anyway. so you can try doing w4ws [whoring4whoring].

and that means that a lot of people on your friends list will see an advertisement for your page on a bulletin they post.

its all fun and you can get a ton of friends [in your case readers] for your blog.
