Why are myspace accounts hacked ALL the time?

Why doesnt Tom put an end to this? Very recently I got hacked and the hacker posted disgusting bulletins and weird "i deleted my account" comments to my friends! :( And the EXACT same thing happened to most of my friends at one point or another! And everyone says they have "hard to guess passwords," so do i, because its very personal, and yet so many people get hacked. I suspect its because people hack the coding or something which is illegal (sry if im not using the correct computer terminology, im not that great with computer programming stuff) and find out the passwords, then why would tom make it so easy to do this if it happens so often? sry if im rambling.

Tom really has nothing to do with myspace these days, so it has nothing to do with Tom. The fact is is that they have a weak server which is why its always getting bugs and what not. The only real way to protect yourself is to frequently change your password. This ensures that if someone has gotten a hold of your password in the past that it wont do them any good. Remember, myspace is a free server. They warn you all the time to protect your space. It is your responsiblity to do so. There are entirely WAY too many people who use myspace, they can't keep up with everyones account. Just make sure to keep your computer up to date as well. If people are getting ahold of your password, your being watched. Frequently check for spy ware and viruses. Firewalls are easy to break through, this is why myspace is frequently hacked on. People are irresponsible and click things they shouldn't. Also, the hackers are very resourceful and aim for newbies. Yeah, its really annoying, but there is no end to it. It's not Tom's fault. THe hackers make phony pages and make it look like a myspace page. You write your password and they get it. As simple as that. To protect yourself, make sure that the link is www.myspace.com, or www.login.myspace.com when you login your myspace.

They get usually get hacked because of your computer having Spywares. You may or may not have a spy ware on your computer,and if you do, they might be watching you type in your password. They don't see the dots you see when you type in your password. They see the words.

It's not a hacker it's a spammer, and there are a lot of people on myspace having the same problem, and there's a lot of spammers on there as well, so just change your password, because the only way the spammer got in is because you either logged into a site that wasn't myspace, but similar or clicked a bad link, so just change your password, and that's that.

NOTE: If you ever get a friends request or a message from someone saying that there a free dating site, giving free iphones out, sex or anything like that mark them as spam and it'll lower the spam on myspace.
