And Answerman, I am both educated and unlikely to be replaced in my job by an illegal immigrant. I am also paying for the education and services used by illegal immigrants which means that my children can no longer get a decent education in the public schools in Los Angeles, and our family's health insurance and health care costs are enormous given our level of use of health care.

When most of our our ancestors came legally and built the economy to what it is today, no one subsidized services. in addition, we will always have some level of permissible immigration, as happened since that time, to address the needs of this country. However, we have no obligation to pay for a better life for foreigners. Specifically, we are under no obligation to educate the poor of other countries whose own countries simply don't want to pay that cost for their own people.
