my myspace changed..not the one where there is a pretty picture but the one where the profile bulletins, mood updates and stuff is..the friends were in the button right corner and now they are in the middle.

Earlier today it did this and on the right you could click and it would go back to the traditional view but now I do not see any way to change it back and I am used to the okd one..how can I get it back

Now, I have read bulletins about us being racist if we had "wet" T.V. and sh!t like that, %26amp;%26amp; I've also seen the sh!t about how all of our television channels are white television. SOMEWHAT true....but this crap Im hearing is just rediculous.

I've already done my research.. and I have never heard of a MISS WHITE AMERICA. If I DO RECALL, MISS AMERICA consists of whites, blacks, asians, mexicans, you name it. Why did black folks need to make a MISS AMERICA for themselves? Strange.

I agree completely. To have a miss black america will only emphasize our differences, rather than forgetting them and coming together despite them. (Plus, there is no black america. It's just the UNITED States of America. This doesn't sound UNITED to me.)

There's a different standard of beauty in the black community. Maybe the Miss Black America pageant considers people that would not otherwise 'fit' in the Miss America pageant.

Does having light skin or dark make a difference? Does it include black people from various Latin American, Caribbean, and African countries or only some of them? Who or what is sponsoring this contest? I need those details in order to determine if it is racist or an opportunity for women to compete in a beauty contest and be proud of themselves without having to conform to a standard of "white beauty"
